Downtown Evanston worked with GW Properties to gift Evanston Made the vacant old Urban Outfitters space to host a holiday pop up. We had 13,000 sq ft to work with – a tremendous amount of space.

We invited select artists to install large-scale installations that led visitors through a collection of contemporary works across several mediums. From video to weaving to storytelling, these artists created a variety of inspiring and beautiful works of art created under a tight timeframe (we got the key four days before we opened) and total creative freedom – deadlines and creative freedom paid off!

We are often asked, “Is this work for sale?” All art installations can be replicated in a variety of iterations and placed in board rooms, bedrooms, lobbies and more.

Evanston Made has 400+ members, we are thrilled to have worked with this talented group of installation artists on this project.

Thank you; Anne Hayden Stevens, Annie Asebrook, Bryana Bibbs, Cécile Trentini, Daniel Burnett, Darren Oberto, Ellie Hazlett, Heather Hancock, Jake Wiens, Jamie Lou Thome, Jeff Phillips, Pam Paulsrud, Robin Ryan, Russell Muits, Toni Villasenor-Marchal & Vanessa Filley

We encourage you to reach out to artists with queries and if you like what you see, please share on social media using #evanstonmade. Photos are captioned with the artist’s name and Instagram account.

This “holiday market” is Evanston Made’s first curated pop up and it’s a beautiful hybrid of art, commerce and community produced by Kathy Halper, Lisa Degliantoni and Liz Cramer.
