ABOUT
Current Exhibit at Evanston Pour on Dempster:
J Allen has devoted his artistic abilities towards expanding abstract surrealistic imagery by using acrylic and latex paint sculpture with found objects underpainted surface; recognizing its present and future standing as an artist force. Allen’s wish is to reach the largest audience possible without compromising his personal technique or convictions.A fine line exists between developing a visual language accessible to the public and creating a kind of deep personal imaginary that relates to life. He wants to illustrate his concern with the effect of technology, kinesiology, and human anatomy in modern as well as future life.
