This End of Year Giving Season, Evanston Made is asking you to support our growth, by making a donation of any amount.

There is so much more we want to do! There are so many more artists we want to work with. But, currently, our work is funded through our membership and program fees, and we need to expand our base of support to grow and reach our full potential.

Your donation of any amount will go toward supporting Professional Development, Creative Collaborations, Community Building and more.

Professional Development

Evanston Made hosts professional development programs designed to teach our members capacity building skills like how to present and price work, how to promote, how to handle commissions and so much more.

The results of these programs? We host a thriving online marketplace, shopevanstonmade.org, with more than $1M of products for sale. We are hosting a Holiday Market, 832 Dempster St., with more than 70 vendors and 95% of those vendors have made a sale.

Creative Collaborations

Hosting Members Mixers and Events is a where we grow our membership base, not just have fun!

First Saturday Art Events include Sketching at Sketchbook Brewing Company, a free sketching workshop that includes materials and sketching tips. It was at one of these events that we met illustrator David Hence. David became a member, we just sold a painting of his at the Holiday Market and we’re gearing up to promote a Comic Creators Club he is starting with the Evanston Public Library.

Meeting new artists and helping them build connections to the community is where we do some of our best work and with your support, we can grow our team to make more connections.

Community Building

Thanks to community partners like Ande Gaspero Breunig, founder of Our Evanston and the Support Evanston Shops, Salons, and Studios Facebook Group, our members enjoy access to thousands of people passionate about shopping local and supporting local artisans.

We recently hosted Ande’s Facebook Group for a private shopping night at the Holiday Market and in addition to sales, artists got to meet people excited to support their work!

Keep Evanston Made Thriving

Evanston Made creates opportunities for artists to show, share and sell their work. Artists like Fran Joy had the pleasure of meeting new collectors at the Holiday Market, who were thrilled to meet the artist who’s work they had just purchased.

In the last eight years, Evanston Made has connected thousands of people to local artists like Fran and elevated the “art scene” to become an inclusive, productive, and sustainable economic driver for our city.

Your support is important and impactful in the work we do in capacity building and raising visibility for the artists in our community. Every donation matters and we are grateful for your contribution of any amount. I hope we can count on your support this year.

Thank you for considering supporting Evanston Made!
