Lisa Riva

I sculpt from my soul, from personal experiences and from my dreams. I begin by readying my studio, setting the mood with music or an audiobook and allowing my tools to choose me. Listening to my inner thoughts. Feeling at ease. The sculptures feel as if they are energy from past souls reconstituted from their ashes in the clay. I am like a conduit for their reincarnation. The words I love you have popped into my head when they are complete.
