Join us Friday, May 24 at 1:30pm in the Maple Room for a Fran Randall classical concert with gifted young performers.
“Captivating with [her] vocal power and lush sound” (RoundTable), Grace Ryan is an award-winning mezzo soprano finishing her degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education from DePaul University School of Music. She has performed in the Midwest and with the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company.
Currently a collaborative pianist at North Park and DePaul Universities, Jennifer McCabe has been described as “the new Gerald Moore” and “an infinitely sympathetic pianist.” She has performed with organizations such as The Kennedy Center, the CSO and Lyric Opera.
Also performing is violinist Bianca Ciubancan. She’s taken top prizes at numerous competitions, and has studied in masterclasses with a number of accomplished violinists. Bianca is concertmaster of the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, and is a senior at Northside College Prep. She’ll perform with piano accompaniment.
Don’t miss this chance to see performances by these accomplished young musicians! Admission is free, and registration is not required.
