Call for Artists to Showcase Art in Evanston Businesses!
Evanston Made and the MDM are combining to showcase local art and locally made craft beverages during the Arts & Craft Crawl along the Main-Dempster Mile, May 19, 5-8p. This event is a fundraiser, tickets are $30, with 100% of the event profits going to Evanston Made.
Event FAQs
36 Artists are invited to create pop-up displays in a store located on Main, Dempster and Chicago Avenue. Event attendees are encouraged to shop for art and craft beverages.
Display options include;
- Art displayed on an easel
- Table of art to sell
- Art displayed in windows
Artists keep 100% of sales made during the event, and must provide their own payment gateways – Square, Venmo, PayPal, etc.
Artists are responsible for installing and removing same day, depending on the business, set up should be ready by 4p and takedown starts at 8p.
Artists will be paired with a business, and are encouraged to do a site visit before the event to meet the business owner and gauge the display area. Every location and business will be different.

Evanston Made and MDM will promote this event across all media channels to drive awareness and attendance.
Covid Safety Expectations:
- Pending real time information, we may require proof of vaccination to participate in this event.
- If a particular store has capacity limits for the evening, we expect Craft Crawlers to respect them.
