Sandra Robinson

I am an Evanston ceramic artist and member of the Midwest Clay Guild. I trained at the Evanston Art Center and have exhibited work there as well as at the Florence Avenue Gallery.

Visit Midwestclayguild.org or sandrarobinsonceramics.com for images of my pieces. Utilitarian pieces make up the majority of my portfolio, but I do enjoy hand sculpture miniature Japanese Jizo figures. I am a photographer, enjoy sketching and creating collages. My ceramic pieces are thrown, glazed and gas and electric fired at the Midwest Clay Guild. However, woodfired finishes appeal to me and so I find ways to get my pieces into woodfirings, and do an twice annual trek to Galena to fire in an outdoor kiln with Jay Strommen and many other talented ceramic artists.
