Robin Carlson

My project, ‘Small delta’ is about the ephemeral transitions we experience on our spinning planet–changes we can’t rewind to review. I take photos to document the almost imperceptible changes of light that occur as day becomes night and vice versa. It is my connection to the unknowable. The universe is communicating in a tempo I can’t comprehend, so I capture each minute, looking for the sum and difference. I create a pallet of time, but ultimately, the data is vulnerable to imagined significance.
