Richard Laurent

I am a practicing oil painter out of my studio at the Fine Arts Building, 410 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago 60605. My studio work is narrative/metaphorical in nature while my plein air paintings hopefully reflect the essence of my observed subjects. I teach in the Art+Design Department at Columbia College-Chicago and am a member of Oil Painters of America and Plein Air Painters of Chicago.
