Julie Marshall

Julie Marshall is a mixed media artist, who enjoys using paper, pen and recycled objects to tell a story, frame an idea, or invoke a feeling from colors or whatever the focus of a particular piece may be. She was professionally trained in drawing, painting, and ceramics at South Suburban College in the south suburbs of Chicago. Julie has completed several outdoor murals and hand-painted commissions.

Collage, with old photographs or vintage postcards and oil painting of water scenes or city streets, on old wood or canvas, are some of Julie’s most common media, however, she also enjoys photography and self-portraits. She has plans for more natural pieces, using shadow boxes to display bird nest creations, with found objects, and is available for murals or other commissions.
