I love finding antique and vintage pieces that have become more beautiful with age. The patina, tarnish, even dents, on these valuable pieces connect us to their histories. I create living history sculptures by pairing these beautiful, rare objects with interesting plants–many of which I have personally cultivated. The character of the objects joined with the movement of the plants brings vitality to a space and reminds me that we are all products of not only what has happened to us, but what we choose to nurture. I hope people find that connection in my pieces.
