Holly Greenberg
As a sustainable artist, Holly Greenberg uses invasive plants, donated fabric scraps and discarded waste materials in her large-scale, environmental conservation art installations. Integral to her practice is the civic engagement component in which citizens can lend a hand in the production of the work while learning about environmental initiatives such as bird safe building practices and habitat restoration through native gardening. Stop by the headquarters of the Bird Collisions in the Anthropocene project in Evanston’s West Village Arts District to help make one of the 10,836 bird replicas needed for the 300 foot long carpet of every bird killed and collected in Chicago in 2023.
