Deb Anderson

Deb Anderson paints foliage, landscapes and abstracts with rich color and expressive brushwork, as well as hand carved block prints. She is focused on the visual patterns and chaos found everywhere in the living world, the texture of foliage, the patterns of water and light, waves and the sky. Her art practice keeps her attention on the interconnectedness of all life, and how we are all inseparable from nature and the environment.

Connecting with other people through artwork is a welcome experience.  Deb grew up in Michigan, moved to Chicago for college and earned a B.A. in Art at North Park University. She now works as an artist, graphic designer and art teacher. She shows her artwork in art fairs and galleries. She’s been honored to receive awards for studio and plein air work, and has sold paintings around the country.
