Chris Walker
Chris Walker – Wet plate collodion photography.
After a long career in photojournalism at the Chicago Tribune, Chris Walker returned to his roots in analog black and white photography. He uses the 19th century wet plate collodion process and a view camera to create one-of-a-kind photographs on aluminum, commonly known as tintypes. In addition to portraiture, he is developing a series of multiple-exposure still-life images of winter flora.
