Art Makers Outpost

The Art Makers Outpost is an environmentally conscious art space located in Evanston at 609 South Blvd. for young artists & adults to create art by repurposing items in an imaginative way. The Outpost provides a nurturing studio environment where artists are encouraged to experiment & be creative with a variety of materials ready for reuse. Through demonstration, facilitation and artist consults, our artists learn new techniques and are free to make what they want. 75% or more of the materials provided are items that would otherwise be destined for landfills. All items are sourced through the community and local businesses.

The Art Makers Outpost offers programing for ages 7+. Our offerings include after-school studio classes during the d65 school year, Saturday studio classes, spring/summer camps, (Half day & Holiday drop-ins will be offered starting fall 2020), workshops, Outpost After Dark BYOB for adults, Teen nights and more!
