Anthony Iacuzzi
Anthony Iacuzzi is a photographer, author and graphic designer who is a long-time resident of Evanston where his work is regularly exhibited at Perspective Gallery.. Iacuzzi enjoys the challenge of working with available light and often stylizes his photographs to give them a distinctive, enhaced look. Other galleries where his work has appeared include: A. Smith Gallery, Blank Wall Gallery (Greece), Black Box Gallery, Contemporary Art Gallery, Matthew Rachman Gallery, Morpho Gallery, the 1650 Gallery and the Tall Sequoia Gallery. His self-published works include: “Think About It: A Compendium of Aphorisms” and “Musings,” a collection of poetry, rhymes and personal thoughts (both books are illustrated with his photography) and “Neon Signs: A Vanishing Art” which is a photo series of neon signs.
Iacuzzi earned a B.S. in Social Sciences degree from Loyola University, Chicago, but his passion for photography led to a Bachelor of Arts in Photography degree from Columbia College Chicago several years later. In 2000, he established his own marketing communications firm where he plied his skills as a graphic designer. In 2010, he co-founded Perspective Group and Photography Gallery, a not-profit-cooperative of fine art photographers.
