Amy Sobin

Amy Sobin is a Glenview, Illinois based mixed media artist, with a BFA in painting and art history from Miami University. Her art invites viewers into worlds of wonderful detail, drawing on observations from everyday life, respect for the natural world and inspired by art history movements including: Neo Classical, Renaissance, Folk and Assemblage. She loves experimenting with painting, drawing, collage and sculpture, creating layered detailed works that exude a sense of celebration.

Most recently Amy has begun incorporating sustainability into her art, you will see her using more upcycled materials as her body of work continues to evolve with growing respect for the world which inspires her.
