The 6th Annual Side/Lot Evanston Experimental Video Showcase features short, experimental videos by film and video makers who live or work in the Chicagoland region.
For the 6th annual Evanston Experimental Video Showcase, we are partnering with Mezcla Media Collective. a Chicago-based non-profit arts organization transforming the local film industry for over 700 women and non-binary filmmakers who identify as ALAANA (African, Latinx, Asian, Arab, and Native American). As the only non-profit dedicated to women and non-binary filmmakers of color in the Midwest, Mezcla supports our community to realize their full potential as storytellers and agents of change.
