Perspective Gallery’s February Invitational is Something to Hold On To

Featuring the work of six emerging artists pursuing their BFAs at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, “HOLD” is Perspective Gallery’s 2026 Invitational Exhibition. The exhibit opens February 5th and will be on display until March 1st.
Curated by Aimee Beaubien, Professor & Chair in the Department of Photography at SAIC, HOLD is a meditation on loss, distance, identity and memory. The featured artists—Abigail Brooke Ackles, Ethan Kunoff, Isabel Lim, Collin Lust, Sarah Price and Dev Kili Stolkiner have created works that ask us to consider what we keep, what return to and what holds us. Together, the exhibition reflects the many ways images attempt to grasp what is already slipping away.
An opening reception will be held on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the gallery. Perspective will also host a virtual artist’s talk via Zoom on February 19th, 2026. The curator and the exhibiting artists will be present to answer your questions and discuss their work at both events.
