Perspective Gallery Features Urban Perspectives in December
December 5, 2024 @ 4:00 pm - January 22, 2025 @ 5:00 pm
Opening December 5th, Perspective Gallery’s Urban Perspectives exhibit features two fine art photographers who approach the urban world from different viewpoints. Steve Geer’s Skyscraper Magic presents unusual and thought-provoking views of Chicago architecture. And Kurt Kramer’s All Around Us captures intimate moments in public environs that we pass through daily.
Through careful selection of viewpoint, timing, and light, both photographers’ visually striking black-and-white compositions give us new ways to appreciate Chicago’s urban landscape.
Urban Perspectives will be on display from December 5th through 29th, with a public reception on Saturday, December 7th, from 5 to 7 PM. The artists will talk about their work with an in-person presentation on Thursday, December 12, at 7 PM. Visit any Thursday to Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.; Sundays noon to 5 p.m.
