We hope to see you on Thursday, February 12th at 6pm at Bookends & Beginnings (@bookends_and_beginnings) for an evening with Don Wycliff, author of “Before the Byline: A Journalist’s Roots”. Wycliff will be in conversation with Shorefront’s Executive Director Laurice Bell.
Join us to learn about Wycliff’s journey from his youth in segregated East Texas to editorial boards in some of America’s most influential newspapers. Wycliff has lived in Evanston, Illinois with his wife, Catherine and sons, Matthew and Grant. While in Evanston he served as a Cub Scout leader, sports coach, and member of St. Mary’s church Parish Pastoral Council.
The doors and minibar will open at 5:30pm
