Jacqueline Eddy
In the 70s, I graduated from college with a Major in Art and Graphic Design. Seeing all the talent around me, I decided that pursuing a career in Art was “unrealistic” for me. I launched full force into a career in business, and adding an MBA to my credentials in 1986. I had funneled my creative energies into my work.
When I turned 50, I decided to restart my artistic exploration and expression. In my college oil painting classes, I produced mud. So, I decided to learn more about the medium how to work with it. I attended classes at the Evanston Art Center and began to paint.
I am a perpetual student, and really only “dabble” on occasion. However, I rediscovered that making time to create and losing myself in the process feeds my soul.
