I came to pottery as a way to indulge my creative spirit when I moved to Chicago a few years ago. From the start, I felt a strong and satisfying connection with the clay and the wheel. I left each studio session (even the unsuccessful ones) happy, relaxed, and centered. Throwing pottery become my meditation. I especially enjoy experimenting with glaze techniques and the anticipation when a new piece comes out of the kiln. I take great pleasure in creating decorative and functional pieces that bring a bit of color and beauty to any space.
