Capturing images on film, and more recently digital media, is a practice that I have enjoyed through most of my life. Having engaged with a variety of subjects, nature is the one I am most drawn to currently. In retirement there have some road trips east and west, adding a variety of experience. During this time I have also come to appreciate the advantages of seeing familiar places in and near Evanston throughout the seasons and changes in weather.

The ever changing details in nature, shifts in lighting, growth and decay, reflect on the marvels of life around us. The idea of making note cards from the images appealed to me, seeing writing as an especially personal way to connect with others. Seeing these wonders of the natural world has helped to connect me with life. I have enjoyed sharing images and notes with friends and family, and getting positive responses. Making larger prints will become available as I make progress with sales.
