November Photo Show at Perspective Gallery: Paula Shur & Jeffrie Chirchirillo

Perspective Gallery’s November show is a joint exhibit featuring the work of Paula Shur and Jeffrie Chirchirillo.  In his youth, Jeffrie Chirchirillo bought his own sailboat and would often get lost in the mesmerizing reflections of the boat on the water’s surface. Chirchirillo’s new series revisits these memories, capturing the constant movement and fleeting nature of watery reflections. Shur’s work explores the juxtaposition of past and present– how the back story informs the current story; and how our origins stay with us.
