Auto mechanic breaks out into jewelry making-

I have been in the auto repair business for over 25 years in Evanston. One day several years ago I bought a jewelry making class for my wife. Since then, she has been making and selling her creations to stores all over the North Shore. Periodically she would approach me as I have a mechanical background on how to repair or alter certain pieces and I was more than pleased to help. I soon enough saw how enjoyable jewelry making was and we have now become partners in the craft. I especially enjoy making resin beads from scratch as well as making leather bracelet cuffs. At the moment I am dabbling in metal smithing.
