Megz Klein

Megz Klein built a lifelong background in Fine Art, Graphics and Interiors. She is a member of ASID, AIGA, American Mensa, and holds a BFA degree in Interior Design and minor in Graphic Design. Megan is a native of Chicago. She spent time in the Los Angeles area, and about 20 years living and designing in the DC Metro region.

Frau translates to ‘woman’ in German, and is the artist moniker and graffiti tag of Megan’s. The city is a great inspiration to the work of Frau. Automotive, architecture and music are also a driving force behind many of the designs.

Being a graffiti artist since 1998, Megan has left her mark on Chicago, the IL burbs, Burbank & Santa Monica, CA, Charleston, SC and the DC Metro area. Her paintings and jewelry have been displayed at Columbia College Chicago, Eleventh Street Lounge, The Art Institute of Washington, Epicure Cafe, and sold at Art on The Avenue in Alexandria, VA, and Metropolitan Deluxe Charleston. They were also showcased and sold at The Body Gallery in Sterling and Leesburg, VA, Eclectic in Libertyville, IL, as well as Etsy. She is currently a member of Evanston Made.

Notable projects and collaborations have been: the Marwood Mansion remodel (Potomac, MD), Puck Building Christmas display (NYC), Visual Artist for West Elm Tysons Corner, Design & Social Media Management for Footwerk (DC Metro), set-up and opening of Found in Fred (Fredericksburg, VA), Project Manager for Audi Marketing (KreativWerk), volunteering (construction) of Dupont Underground Re-Ball: Raise/Raze, and more!
