A passion for creating contemporary jewelry allows me to express my personal artistic vision.
About 10 years ago I began making jewelry constructed from materials I love such as ethnic beads, semi-precious stones, wood, and leather. I have added variety and sophistication with new skills in metalworking, copper-enameling and ceramic jewelry making. While creating this somewhat
unconventional jewelry, my passion for design, simplicity and everyday wear-ability continues tochallenge and delight me.
I am obsessed with visual stimulation-color, pattern, shape. Sources of inspiration come from my global adventures and a deep connection with design in nature. While I make many of the components, the end process often involves combining and playing with materials until the “aha” moment when my dendrites dance and the piece is ready.
This portfolio provides a sample of my ceramic collection. Other collections can be seen on my website.
