Kevin Trabaris

Kevin Trabaris is a figurative oil painter whose work captures the stories and images that expose the beauty and emotions of the human condition sometimes with a humorous approach.

Trabaris’ fascination with art began as a small child, and he drew for many years. Mr. Trabaris minored in art history in college before settling into the practice of law. In 2003, Kevin was drawn back to art and started taking classes at local art schools and at a Chicago atelier to better master representational oil painting. He has also taken many painting workshops over the years where he has studied with numerous recognized artists.

Kevin has found, to his surprise, that the years spent as an attorney has provided him a personal reserve of stories, experiences and examples of human foibles to inform his art for many years to come.
