Iliana Cardona

Hello, Iliana here. I am a native Chicago Latina artist finally embracing her artistic self. I have been a public servant for the last 23 years, 18 of them assisting victims impacted by violent crime. In such a field one can’t help but be impacted by the suffering of those we serve.

I have come to find creating my art to be a very therapeutic and a much needed practice in self care. I consider myself an intuitive creator and as I apply different mediums, I search within the piece for direction. This means that many of my pieces will look very different from the next.

My love for mixed media puts it top of the list but I’m just as comfortable working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pan pastels, and ephemera. I find great joy in creating and sharing my art and hope you find a piece that speaks to you.
