I work in mixed media, mining my imagination for figures, portraits, horizons and abstracts. I prefer to scavenge alleys, thrift stores, my studio, wood sheds, basements, etc. for my surfaces; their various imperfections – dents, smudges, paint splatters – all have a history and I let them show me the way.
