Evanston Made Kids
Evanston Made Kids (EMK) Evanston Made also supports the young artists in our community through Evanston Made Kids! Throughout the year, we host events with special attention to youth and family friendly activities.
Evanston Made Kids at Evanston Art Center
Our annual June EMK event is a family-friendly FREE month of making, creating, selling and celebrating Evanston's Young Creatives hosted by the Evanston Art Center!
Exhibits and workshops are held throughout June, and the month-long event culminates in a free family art extravaganza when the Evanston Art Center opens its art studios for demos and making, giving young people the chance to explore creative activities and take home their creations. From printmaking to fabric sculpture, kids get an opportunity to try out new art media and learn new skills. There is also a pop-up shop where young artists are invited to set up a “booth” and sell their handmade goods!
Evanston Made Maker’s Market
The Maker's Market is a one-day art sale that will take place in the Maple Street Parking Garage on September 29th. We will have a special area devoted to young artists where they can sell their wares. For more information about the Maker’s Market visit:
Evanston Art and Big Fork Festival
The annual ‘Big Fork’ event brings art, music and food together for a free Evanston street festival and Evanston Made will be there too! Visit us at our booth anytime during the weekend of August 16-18th to learn more about Evanston Made.
On Saturday, August 17th Evanston Made Kids will be hosting a hands-on kids art workshop from 10am-2pm! For more information about Big Fork visit: Big Fork
