Join Hive Center for the Book Arts for a Special Edition of our Writers’ Block series, where we gather to quietly work side by side on our own individual writing projects. Our Writers’ Block Special Edition will take place on September 2, from 10 am-4 pm, and the cost is $30 for the full day, or $7 per hour for shorter time selection (space is limited for shorter selection, depending on full day participants).

Writers’ Block provides you with dedicated time and space to work on your writing practice. You get to choose what you’re going to work on during your time on the Block. Bring your own laptop, writing utensils, notebooks, and/or paper. Writers’ Block is self-guided time to write. This is non-instructional time. Writers on the Block will never be pressured to share what they’ve written.

For our Labor Day Writers’ Block Special Edition, we’ll have coffee from Evanston Pour and tasty treats in the morning, soup-and-sandwich lunch at noon, and snacks at around 2 pm. A variety of teas and sparkle and still waters will also be provided.

Due to space constraints, there is a limit of 8 participants.
