In September 2024, Rob Summerlin moved from Savannah, Georgia to Skokie to support his wife’s grad school journey at Northwestern. While she studied, he painted outside. With his wife’s program ending in June and a move back to Savannah forthcoming, “Not From Around Here” is a celebration of Rob’s plein air experiences in the region. Come out and see how a Southerner reacts to the natural features of your local landscape!
