Evanston Women’s History Mural Unveiling

This Saturday! Join us for a very special celebration recognizing the completion of the Evanston Women’s History Mural, a collaborative project of Art Encounter’s Evanston Mural Arts Program, the Evanston History Center, and Shorefront Legacy Center.

This mural, designed and painted by artist Sholo Beverly (pictured below) with Susan Volk, pays tribute to the tremendous impact that women have had in shaping Evanston over the last 100 years and more. Join us in sharing our thanks to the Evanston community for its contributions, and to all the women named, unnamed, and those in the process of building a better future for Evanston.
