Evanston Plein Air Art Exhibit

On display at the Evanston Public Library in Downtown Evanston, are more than 20 pieces submitted for the first Evanston Plein Air Art Festival, to include “Beach at Grosse Point”, which won Best of Show and Festival Favorite by Scott Lloyd Anderson.
The first Evanston Plein Air Art Festival hosted 50 competing artists who created Plein Air paintings of Evanston’s natural and built environment. The festival ended with a competition, with artists submitting works judged by Master Plein Air Painter Don Yang and community members.
The works on display are for sale, unless otherwise noted, and are a fantastic opportunity to start a plein air or Evanston art collection. Sales inquiries can be sent to info@evanstonmade.org

See the exhibit on the 3rd Floor Art Gallery of the Evanston Public Library, located at 1703 Orrington Ave, Evanston, IL 60201. Hours; Monday – Thursday 10a–8p, Friday 9a–6p Saturday 9a–6p, Sunday 12–6p.
