Evanston Made hosts First Saturday Evanston Art Events, a self-guided exploration of Evanston’s Creative Community, featuring art on display at venues across Evanston.  Shop for handmade goods, meet small business owners, enjoy a delicious meal, learn to sketch and make ART Friends!

Evanston Art Map is updated the First Saturday of every month, scroll this Google calendar for locations to see and shop for art in Evanston. Double check open hours before going to venues.

Art in Front Yards

  • Announcing the opening of “WAVES (Women, Artists, Visionaries and Educators)”. Come and see this group exhibit by 11 women artists from St. Augustine, FL, featuring miniature artwork in celebration of Women’s History Month that focuses on honoring the resilient and empowered women in our lives. Licky Lab & Alpaca Free Little Art Gallery is proud to partner with artist, art educator and former Evanston resident, Jenny Keyser, as she shares with us the diverse work of her talented art students. WAVES will be on display 24/7 through 3/28 streetside at Licky Lab & Alpaca Free Little Art Gallery, 1127 Dewey Ave, Evanston, IL, next door to Grandmother Park. Featured art: “Resilience”, by Angela Angela Gaudioso-Klein, 2024, water-based markers on paper, 5×7”. Note from the artist: “This art depicts an African American Rosie the Riveter.
