Crochet Bucket Hat 1 day Workshop

Join us at Trapdoor Studio to learn the basics of crochet while making a bucket hat! In this 4 hour workshop led by Trapdoor founder Ava DeCapri, you’ll learn the basics of crochet through the process of creating your own bucket hat.

Workshop will cover:

• Basics of crochet and a few simple stitches

• How to crochet in the round and form a bucket hat

• Understanding how to shape and copy/follow the pattern of an existing garment

• Each student will leave with the start of a custom fit bucket hat as well as a PDF with information covered at workshop

Crocheting takes time! We will go over each step of the bucket hat process on a sample piece, but your hat may not be finished by the end of the workshop (unless your a super speedy crochet-er – which would be rad) You will walk away with a partially crocheted hat and the tools + knowledge to finish the hat at home – PDF guide, crochet hook, and extra yarn.

Trapdoor Studio will be implementing COVID-19 protocols during the workshop to ensure staff and vendor safety.

• Masks will be optional

Class Fees cover all supplies and materials. No prior experience needed, all are welcome! We ask that if you are under the age of 13 that you be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
