Artopia 2023 Woodland Whimsy

It is with great excitement that Open Studio Project invites you to the 2023 Artopia fundraising event. For over 20 years, we have hosted this annual event to support programs that provide a safe space for healthy emotional expression. This year’s event, Woodland Whimsy, will take place on Saturday, April 22nd, accompanied by a month-long exhibition of artwork for auction.
Our mission is to bring art directly to individuals for personal growth, social-emotional learning, and community well-being. OSP has experienced significant growth over the last few years in the number of people we serve, types of programs we provide and our growing staff. All proceeds from Artopia will be used to support this year’s four funding priorities:

Individual, Family & Group Art Therapy – our new initiative to provide art therapy to individuals, families and small groups will be offered to clients of our community partners.

Social-Emotional Learning – our Art & SEL programs reach Chicago, Evanston and Skokie Public Schools.

Fifth Ward Studio – established in 2022, our beautiful studio serves 5th Ward residents where they live.

Connections for the Homeless – programs are provided for people experiencing homelessness at Margarita Inn, Hilda’s Place and the Young Adult Program.
