Artist Talk on Experimental and Alternative Photography Techniques

This Sunday, October 16, 3-5p, Evanston Made is hosting an Artist Talk on Experimental Photography Techniques with photographers Levern Dahlman and Stephen Murphy.
Hosted at the Evanston Made Pop Up Shop, this talk and Q&A will showcase how both photographers create photo-based art with new and experimental techniques.
Levern Dahlman will showcase her work that uses Intentional Camera Movement and post-processing to create digital collages of multiple photographs to turn ordinary photographs into the extraordinary.
Stephen Murphy will discuss how he uses encaustic wax and mixed media elements overlays on his photographs.
Both photographers have works on display and will provide the audience with an engaging conversation followed by a Q&A.
Liz Cramer, Evanston Made Co-Director and Photography Group Show Curator, will talk broadly about the more than 150 photos on display and the impact Evantson Made hopes to have on Evanston Photographers at large.
