The following is a list of events that have been cancelled, postponed or digitized as a response to the ongoing Coronavirus health crisis. Expect this list to be updated frequently.

First Saturdays April Art Events

OPEN STUDIO PROJECT
We will be continuing the exhibit School Pictures by Melissa Ann Pinney.

We have cancelled any sort of opening reception we would have.

The artist is currently working on transitioning her show to a virtual tour, which will allow her to fully tell the story of each image. While things are a bit sad right now, I do think that will be a very cool experience!

ARTEM POP UP GALLERY
All events at Artem Pop Up Gallery have been cancelled until further notice. 

SPACE 900
Jovan Mihailović: Ceaseless Effort to Be, 
postponed until late August.

NURTURING CREATIVITY: An exhibit of artworks by Art Encounter's Teaching Artists and Staff celebrating their contribution to expanding art for all scheduled for March 14 - March 28, has been extended until April 20 - open by appointment only through Joanna Pinsky and Art Encounter.

1100 FLORENCE
"Earthland" by Kathy Halper and David Gista has been postponed.

ICE HOUSE GALLERY
“Juxtaposition” Group Show Opening Reception has been rescheduled:

Saturday May 16th is an opening and closing reception for the show, first chance to meet the artists, last chance to buy!

Digital - An online store and digital tour of the gallery for the new show will be available by April 4th.

  • Elliott Park/Lee St. Beach: 1-3pm -
    DIY Digital event- Create in your own space- your yard, your balcony or on your porch! We’ll be posting ideas and suggestions for your own Earth Art creations.  It’s a great project with the whole family! Post your creations and tag @evanston_made #evanstonlovesnature #evanstonart
