WHAT WE DO

We connect Evanston arts to the public.

WHO WE ARE

We are the home for discovering Evanston art events

Every June Evanston Made hosts a bounty of arts events!

The Evanston Made Group Show at the Evanston Art Center, the Evanston Made Pop Up Shop, a two day Studio Tour and kids events fill out the month!

The month long celebration of the earth through art takes place in April. Gallery exhibits, outdoor installations, presentations, a coloring book, a window contest and more.

Click here for Evanston Loves Nature Coloring Book.

Evanston Made held its first Maker's Market on the 5th floor of Evanston’s Maple Street Garage in 2019. More than 50 Makers transformed the garage into an art fair.  In conjunction with Downtown Evanston’s Oktoberfest.

These are monthly social & networking events. We select a different art venue for each meeting, often an artist studio or arts business.

Our Professional Development Workshop series offer expert advice on different aspects of the working artist's life. Past workshops include "Instagram for Artist who don't Love Instagram" and "Photographing Your Work".

The Evanston Community Calendar is available to the public.  ANYONE can enter an Evanston based event. Any and all events including art, dance, book signings, poetry readings, trunk shows, writing, theatre, music.

Every member artist gets a free portfolio page on the website. They can load as many images as they like. They can load their resume, bio, artist statement and any contact links they would want the public to have.

EM Kids is growing fast! EMK will host kids size events that coincide with June art events at the Evanston Art Center! A group show, an art expo and pop up shop are planned.

The Evanston Made Online Art Store stocks wonderful works of art by our members for sale online! A great source for unique gifts!

We are often asked to provide artists for public and alternative spaces. Check us out at both Backlot Coffee locations, the Council Chambers and the Mayor's Office in City Hall and more!

SIDE/LOT, showcases experimental and short-form videos created by video makers who live or work in Evanston as part of Evanston Made.

It's easy to become a members of Evanston Made and join in the fun! We have memberships for individuals, partner businesses and art loving patrons. Sign up today!
